In 2024, the Salon der Gegenwart turns 10 years old, and the Kunsthaus Zofingen is dedicating an exhibition to the anniversary in collaboration with Oxyd - Kunsträume in Winterthur. The Salon der Gegenwart is a loose group of figurative artists initiated by Giampaolo Russo in 2014. Around 40 artists will transform the large Baroque hall on the upper floor of Kunsthaus Zofingen into a Salon of Painting.
One room is dedicated to Andrea Muheim, also one of the founders of the Salon der Gegenwart. She passed away in the summer of 2023.
